Access Card for Parents & Guardians
For the safety of all learners, Mooifontein Primary requires parents and guardians to present an official access card when entering the school premises or collecting children. This card helps the school control and monitor who enters the grounds, ensuring a secure environment for everyone. Parents can apply for the card by submitting the required documents to the school office.
Extramural Activities
At Mooifontein Primary, sports play a vital role in developing teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among our learners. We offer a variety of sporting activities each term, including netball, soccer, athletics, hockey, and cricket. Our dedicated coaches work closely with learners to help them grow their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the spirit of competition. Through regular practices and inter-school matches, we aim to instill values of fair play and perseverance while keeping our learners active and engaged.
AFTERCARE
Our school provides an Aftercare program to ensure learners are safe and supervised after school hours. If a parent or transport has not arrived by 15:30, learners will be sent to Aftercare. This program offers a structured and caring environment where students can complete homework and participate in activities until they are collected.
Feeding Scheme
Our school provides a variety of nutritious and delicious meal options through our feeding scheme for students who cannot afford daily meals. We prioritize offering balanced and wholesome food to support their health and well-being.
